He then worked at Yale University for one year as a physics researcher. In 1962, he and his wife Nancy moved to California. Taber studied physics at Stanford University. After receiving a Doctorate Degree of Physics in 1966, he moved back to the East Coast to Winchester, Mass. For two years he worked at MIT as a theoretical physicist.

From 1968 until 1970, Taber, his wife and two children lived in Paris, France. During this time, he worked in Orsay, France at the physics laboratory. Then from 1970 until his death in 1987, he worked as a theoretical physicist in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Taber died of ALS leaving behind his wife and three children. It’s a pity that he will never see his granddaughter and two grandsons. But it’s wonderful that life continues.
