GULDEN—Michael Isham 74, died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 after a long, courageous struggle with Alz-heimer’s disease. Michael leaves behind his devoted wife of 45 years, Mary Jean Summers Gulden; his two sons, Christopher Adams Gulden (his wife, Alex) of Locust Valley, NY, and David Gaynor Gulden of Nairobi, Kenya; his two granddaughters, Samantha Gulden and Augusta Gulden; and his three peppy pug dogs, “Jilly,” “Buda,” and “Lavinia.” Michael has been a resident of Palm Beach, FL, for the last 28 years. He was a former member of The New York Stock Exchange. He was a past trustee of the Pomfret School. He graduated from The Green Vale School, Pomfret School, and Yale University, class of 1961. He was a member of the Yale Secret Society, Book and Snake. At the time of his death, Michael was a member of the Bath and Tennis Club and the Everglades Club in Palm Beach, and the Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, NY. We wish to thank Michael’s loyal nurses who have helped us endlessly through the last few trying years; Evelyn Diver, Helen O’Hara, Joanne McGrath, Jane Belifore, Christina Flores, Rosilia Cintron, Lanise Lagone, Shirley Tucker, and Sadie Fashaw; and Hospice of Palm Beach County. At Michael’s request, there will be no funeral.
