60th Reunion ZOOMs

Andy Block, Jamie McLane and I have decided to build on the Zoom session I mentioned in my initial letter about John Walsh lecturing on an art subject in February. We will have 5 such Zoomed discussions, including give and take with participants, with a different classmate or noted authority leading each one.  The sessions are as follows:

Tuesday, January 19, 2021 – Professor Paul Bracken ’82 PhD Professor of Management & Political Science on the U.S. and China: “China Issues Facing the New Administration”

Wednesday, February 17, 2021 – John Walsh ’61 discussing two Picasso paintings

Wednesday, March 17, 2021 – Sandy Cochran (’61) and David Noble  (’61) – “The Vietnam Era (1960’-70’s),” featuring David’s book: Saigon to Pleiku: A Counterintelligence Agent in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, 1962-63
Wednesday, April 21, 2021 –  Law Professor Jim Simon ’61 – “The Supreme Court & Presidents: From Washington to Biden”
Wednesday, May 19, 2021 – John Badham ’61 & Austin Pendleton ’61 – A Film Director and A Stage Director on the Commonalities and Differences in their Trades

A few weeks before each session you will receive an email invitation to register. (When you register, please be sure that you type your email correctly, or you won’t be admitted to the meeting.) In return, you’ll receive the Zoom link for the session, and we will resend it to you on the Monday before as a reminder. I look forward to seeing you at each of these.
